West Sleekburn Farm Estates is an environmentally-focused business site located in Northumberland. The brief for the website required that it should reflect this eco-friendliness. To achieve this an earthy colour scheme of greens and browns was used along with a grassy background image. Straight and slightly curved corners and plenty of whitespace were also used to convey a clean professional image

I recommended and it was accepted to use a content management system for the site to allow easy maintainance of the content. Drupal was used for this because it is an open source CMS. The site was designed then converted into a custom template for Drupal.

I designed a custom admin system using a degree of 'forking' with some hacks to templates and changes to the css. This was done to simplify the interface for the company, hiding the administration tools from the user and leaving them with just the ability to add/modify/delete pages, menu items and images (see screenshots below).
